This is a grammar class.It talks about question words + to-infinitives and differences between must and have to

进一步利用阅读周书籍介绍创设语境,在介绍中呈现新的语法知识,学生先对语法现象形成一定的感性认识,再通过练习的训练归纳和总结语法规则。

1. Present Danel’s introduction of Hunchback of Notro Dame.
2. Lead out the sentences with ‘must’ and ‘have to’.
(1) He was adoped(收养) by Claude, a bad guy. So he had to do everything Claude asked him to.
(2)He thought he must do something right.
3.Ask students to discuss the differences between “must” and “have to”
4. Explain to the students that we use ‘must’ when the speaker feels that something is necessary. We use ‘have to’ when the situation makes something necessary.
5. Show students two more sentences.
(1)What a poor man! If he was born in a happy family, he did not have to do what Claude asked him to.
(2)And when Claude did something bad, he may say‘You mustn’t do it.’
6.Explain to the students we use ‘must not’ to say something is not allowed.. We use ‘do not have to’ to say that it is not necessary to do something.
7.Do some exercises.
1.Discuss the differences between “must” and “have to”

继续利用阅读周书籍的介绍,创设语境,自然引出must和have to。将语法项目放入真实的情境中,让学生先形成一定的感性认识,然后在情境中体会语法的意义与功能。
