Though we only stayed there for a few days, we had a good time. Although he lives alone, yet he is happy. = He lives alone, but he is happy. 他虽然单独生活，但很愉快。 My car is very old, but I don't want to buy a new one. 虽然我的汽车很旧，但我不想买一辆新的。 (2)though 可用于even though结构，although则不能。 Even though I fail, I'll keep on trying. 我纵然失败，仍会继续尝试下去。 2. so…that… / such …that…用法 (1) so…that…引导结果状语从句 so …that…句型中的so是副词，常用来修饰形容词或副词，常用句型为： 主语 + 谓语动词 +so +adv./adj.+that从句 He is young she can’t look after herself. The boy ran fast I couldn’t catch him.
