This part aims to teach the grammar rules of possessive nouns. And through reading a diary writing about a girl's family moment, students will learn to describe their own family moments like this.
The language and the strucuture students need to desribe their family moments are taught in and before the class. But it is still difficult for students to finish the task. The teacher has to lead students to find their own loving family moments first.

Tip 1: We use 's or ' to show something belongs to somebody. (‘s表示某人的某物)

Tip 2: When the noun is singular, we add 's to show the ownership. (单数名词后加's表示所有格)

Tip 4: We use 's or ' to show the ownership when nouns are alive. We use of + nouns to show the ownership when nouns are lifeless. (有生命的名词所有格用's 或 ' 表示,无生命的名词所有格用of+名词结构表示。)

· Work in groups and write as many sentences as possible using possessive nouns ('s/')

· Complete the family moment using possessive nouns ('s).

教学反思
对于学生来说,如何选一个家庭时刻来描述是第一大挑战。我们的学生对爱的感知比较钝,描述什么都不知道怎么去描述呢?这一点可以从starting out那一课看出来,问学生family activity的时候他们的答案非常贫瘠。所以我们在上课的时候一定要引导学生family moment不一定是什么盛大的时刻,它可能是一个非常微小琐碎的瞬间。
