Teaching Reflection
In this lesson, I aimed to help students improve their language skills and critical thinking abilities through the story of Yu Gong. The listening and retelling activities helped students understand the story and improve their listening and speaking skills. The discussion activity encouraged students to think critically and express their opinions. Overall, the students were engaged and participated actively in the class. However, some students still had difficulty expressing their opinions in English. In the future, I will provide more opportunities for students to practice speaking and give them more guidance on how to express their opinions. Also, I will try to use more visual aids and examples to help students understand the story and the discussion questions.
