The objective clause 一、Teaching Contents: This lesson adopted from Grade Nine of Go For It. The topic of it is to talk about the objective clause. Students in Grade 9 are familiar with clauses and are able to get a general understanding of the clause. However, they have difficulties in thinking deeper to find out the usage of the objective clause. 二、Teaching objectives： 1. Language Competence： By the end of the lesson, students will have a better understanding of Objective clause, then students will grasp the usage of the Introductory words. What, where, why, how and so on and the words order,etc. 2. Learning Ability： Enable students to identify what is the objective clause and learn to use different kinds of Introductory words. 3.Cultural Awareness: Develop students interest of learning grammar and have good qualities of self-confidence and self-improvement. 4.Thinking Quality: Students can sort out and summarize the usage of the objective clauses, Students can correctly understand and judge the different kinds of introductory words. 3、 Teaching important point: Learn the important aspects of the objective clause: the introductory words 4、 Teaching difficult points: How to choose the introductory words correctly and appropriately in the objective clause and the word order. 5、 Teaching methods: Combine the inductive method with the deductive method. 6、 Teaching aids: textbook, multi-media. 七、Teaching procedures: Step 1 宾语从句的含义： 在复合句中，由一个句子充当宾语，这个句子叫做宾语从句。引导宾语从句的常见关联词有that,if,whether,what,who,where,why,和how等。 Step 2 宾语从句的语序： 宾语从句的语序应为陈述句的语序（主语+谓语+其他） 主语+谓语+宾语从句（从句由“连接词+陈述句”构成） Talk about the following sentences, think about what we should pay attention to objective clause. 语序，引导词，时态。 观察两组句子，想一想如何把它们合并到一起，形成一个复合句。 E. g. 1.What is she doing? Can you tell me? Can you tell me what she is doing? 2.Where does she live? Do you know? Do you know where she lives? 分三种特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句的陈述语序的情况： 结构分析: Could you please tell me where the restrooms are ? Could you tell me how I can get to the post office? Excuse me .I’d like to know where you bought the sweater . Exercise: Which is right？ Can you tell me what do we have to do?(X) Can you tell me what we have to do?(√) Step 3 中考演练 (2021陕西省中考)—The man and the woman didn’t know ________. A. how they should do B. how should they do C. what they should do D. what should they do 思路解析：本句含义是“这位男士和这位女士不知道他们应该做什么”，排除A、B两项。另外宾语从句要用陈述语序。所以答案是C 黑色陷阱：本句容易错译成“这位男士和这位女士不知道他们应该怎么做”而错选how，在“how should they do”中 do 是及物动词，其后要带宾语的，而A、B两项中do后都没有带宾语。 答题技巧：解答本类题首先分析句意，确定引导词，然后看好语序和时态。 八、Summary 特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句必须用陈述语序： 连接词+主语+谓语+宾语/其它 在宾语从句中，当连接词 what , who 作从句的主语时，语序不变 1).
