I’m going to plant three trees because they can influence the climate, the animals, and the people. Firstly, trees can make the air cleaner and stop the soil from being washed away.
Secondly, animals need them to live and eat. As a result, without plants, the natural world will become very different.
Also, I’m going to make a “Green Corner” for our classroom. Plants mean a lot to people, so we should do all that is useful for nature.
A: Could you tell me something about bamboo?
B: Of course. We use bamboo for food. A: Yes, that’s true. I often eat bamboo shoots with noodles.
B: We also use bamboo as a building material. You can build houses with it. A: That’s interesting! May I ask you for another use?
B: Yes, no problem. You can make paper from bamboo.
A: Thank you! Bamboo is a very useful plant.
My mum and dad drink tea. My mum likes Longjing tea. My dad drinks Pu’er tea. They mostly drink tea at home. They like to drink tea with their friends. They tell stories and share news. My mum and dad met at a teahouse. Their friends introduced them to each other. That’s why tea is special to them. Drinking tea makes them feel relaxed and happy. It reminds them of good times. Tea is an important part of Chinese culture. It connects us to other people, and to our history.
