Recently, there has been a heated discussion about whether organic food should be strongly promoted. Different people have different opinions. Some people support the promotion of organic food. Firstly, organic food is beneficial for preventing some diseases like cancer and heart diseases. It is free from harmful pesticides and chemical fertilizers, which makes it a healthier choice. Secondly, it is friendly to the environment. Organic farming doesn't pollute the soil and water. However, some oppose the promotion. On one hand, the production cost of organic food is high, leading to expensive prices. Not everyone can afford it. On the other hand, it is not easy to preserve. Organic food may go bad more quickly than non - organic food. In my opinion, although organic food has some drawbacks, its advantages outweigh them. We should promote it.
