While-reading (20 minutes) First reading: Students read the passage silently and underline the words they don't know. Then they look up the words in a dictionary and write down their meanings. Second reading: Students read the statements in 2c and circle True, False or Don't Know. After that, they discuss their answers in pairs. Third reading: Students read the passage again and answer the questions in 2d. They can work in groups to share their answers and add other details from the reading. 4. Post-reading (10 minutes) Students put the sentences in 2e in the correct order and tell Aron's story to their partner. They can add more details and express their opinions about Aron's experience.
