The Nobel Prize week started on Oct 7 this year.As the world's highest award in the fields of science and literature, the Nobel Prize has a long history since it started in1901.
Many people talked online about the winners. Some people have also asked how Alfred Nobel was so rich that there is still enough money for the prizes after so many years.

SpaceX completed the fifth test flight of its giant Starship rocket, marking important progress, including the successful capture of the rocket's "super Heavy" booster (助推器)using mechanical arms, lovingly referred to by many as "chopsticks,” This gained a lot of attention among Chinese space fans and experts.
Apart from the booster capture, marking a major milestone(里程碑) toward spaceX's goal of making Starship a fully reusable rocket system, Starship spacecraft flew a similar path in space as before, re-entered Earth's atmosphere, and landed in the Indian Ocean.
Excited by the footage of the starship test flight, many Chinese netizens posted congratulatory messages online. However some Chinese space experts had different thoughts.
"Starship's best part is spaceX's first-stage recovery, which started with the Falcon rockets, but the development of the second stage has a long way to go. There are still problems with slowing down and with heat and air flow. The heat shields (热板) fall off, and even a gentle glide made it burn a lot" a Chinese rocket expert said, and he predicted the further delays in the US lunar landing plans.
Kang Guohua, professor of Aerospace Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, said the launch had two main goals: getting the rocket back and making the starship land safely in the Indian Ocean. In comparison, China's rocket recovery technology is still in the testing phase.
When asked whether China should build big rockets like starship, Kang said china's space program doesn't include joining in a "Star Wars"-style space race.
"What we do based on what we can do ,and follow science step by step. We'll develop space technology to fits our needs. For example, we want to send people to the moon, build bases there, collect samples from asteroids (小行星), and bring samples back from Mars."
1.What is the main achievement of SpaceX's fifth test flight of Starship?
A. Landing in a new location. B. Capturing the booster with "chopsticks"
C. Flying a completely new path in space. D. Developing heat shields for the rocket.
2.What does the Chinese rocket expert think about Starship's development?
A. The first stage is amazing, but more work is needed. B.It's already perfect.
C. The heat shields are its strongest feature. D. It will delay China's space program.
3.The word "glide" in Paragraph 4 most probably means?
A. fast flight B. sharp turn C.sudden drop D.smooth movement without power
4.Which of the following is NOT mentioned as a goal of China's space program?
A. Sending people to the moon. B. Collecting samples from asteroids.
C. Building bases on asteroids. D. Bringing samples back from Mars.
5.How does Kang Guohua feel about China building rockets like Starship?
A. It's necessary to compete with SpaceX. B. China should focus on its own needs and abilities.
C. It's a waste of resources. D. China is already ahead in rocket technology.
