Lead-in: Review what was learned in previous lesson to feel the unit topic. (Aim: To help students be connected to the topic) Step 2. Topic introduction: Video watching & Brainstorm (Aim: arouse students’ learning passion) Question: What is an editorial? (Aim: To introduce the topic) Step 3. Pre-writing (Aim: To make students well-organized by analyzing the editorial, using a series of questions.) Activity 1. Personal work: read the editorial and try to find the answers to the following questions. 1. Which countries are mentioned and how do they celebrate Chinese Spring Festival? 2.
