A summary:
One day when I was six years old, Grandfather and I were gathering pecans in the woods. After working hard for a long time, I only got the bucket half full. So, I felt discouraged that I would let Grandpa down. Then a squirrel caught my eye, making me curious. Having observed the squirrel carefully, I found the place where the squirrel hid his pecans. I took away all the pecans happily while the squirrel was busy picking up another nut. After that I proudly showed Grandfather the bucket full of pecans, but Grandpa handed the bucket back to me the second he knew where the pecans came from.
What is the theme of the story?

One possible version:
“That squirrel worked very hard to gather his winter supply of food.” Grandpa said. “Now that all of his pecans are gone, don't you think that little squirrel will be hungry when it gets cold?” Grandpa asked me. “I didn't think about that”, I murmured with shame, blood rushing to my face. Grandpa told me seriously that a good man should never take advantage of someone else's hard work. I dropped my head, feeling as hollow as that old tree. The image of that starving squirrel wouldn't leave my mind. There was only one thing I could do.
I picked up that little bucket full of pecans and carried it back to the tree. Lifting the bucket up, I poured all of the nuts back into the hole, refilling it with not only all of the squirrel's pecans but also the ones I had collected on my own. I breathed a sigh of relief and returned home with the empty bucket. I didn't eat any of the sweet рecans that night, but I had something much more filling, which was the satisfaction of knowing I had done the right thing.

“That girl worked very hard to gather her courage and learn tae kwon do, she need to be encouraged.” I said with a higher voice. “Now that you say ’it’s not my business’, don't you think that is a little selfish when you actually see somebody is really in need of help?” I asked her seriously with doubt in my heart. “I didn't think about that”, she replied with shame, blood rushing to her face. I told her that a good person should never turn a blind eye to someone else's difficulites. she dropped her head, looking ashamed. We then went back to the training room and continued our training.
“I won, I won!” she shouted with joy and excitment. “What happened? You won what?” I asked with curiosity and touched by her joyful voice. She took out a piece of paper and pointed at it, “See, it is a prize which I got during my last competition with an opponent who is a man! How amazing is that!” She waved the prize and looked at me happily. Seeing the prize, I congratulated her on her great success, asking how she did it. She breathed a sigh of relief and said with a sense of pride,”It is all because of you, who comforted me when I am down and sad”. I shook my head, ”No, you should thank yourself for working so hard!” We then talked a lot and became good friend. As an old saying goes, present others roses, leaving fragrance in hands.
