Do you like playing little jokes (玩笑) on your friends and family? A new study found we’re not the only ones like doing this. Big apes (猿) have great fun doing this too: A group of scientists (科学家) spent a lot of time studying the apes from San Diego Zoo and Leipzig Zoo in the UK. They were surprised to find out apes love to monkey around in many ways.
Some apes would give their friend something only to take it back quickly, or even tickle (挠痒痒) each other happily. Zhu Kezhen was a leader (引领者) in studying weather and geography in China.
Zhu Kezhen was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang in 1890. He was the youngest (最小) of the family. Like many famous (著名) people in Chinese history from this place, Zhu grew up in a place that valued education (教育) and love for China.
He was interested in Chinese culture (文化) at an early age and later went to a middle school in Shanghai in 1905. Four years later, he got into a college (学院) in Tangshan. Do you like playing little jokes (玩笑) on your friends and family? A new study found we’re not the only ones like doing this. Big apes (猿) have great fun doing this too: A group of scientists (科学家) spent a lot of time studying the apes from San Diego Zoo and Leipzig Zoo in the UK. Zhu Kezhen was a leader (引领者) in studying weather and geography in China
Zhu Kezhen was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang in 1890. He was the youngest (最小) of the family. Like many famous (著名) people in Chinese history from this place, Zhu grew up in a place that valued education (教育) and love for China.
He was interested in Chinese culture (文化) at an early age and later went to a middle school in Shanghai in 1905. Four years later, he got into a college (学院) in Tangshan. In 1910, Zhu passed (通过) a test and got a chance (机会) to study in the United States. Zhu went to the University of Illinois in America to study agriculture (农学). He thought this would help China. But he soon found that American farming ways wouldn’t work well in China. So, after finishing his studies at the University of Illinois, Zhu started to study meteorology (气象学) at Harvard University and he did very well.
