Section A 1a-2d (Period one) 教学目标 By the end of this class, you will be able to: •recognize, read and use some new words about jobs. •talk about the future dream jobs in the real situation by using “want to be.../be going to...” •be a student with aims and work hard for dream job. 教学重难点 教学重点： to read and write words about jobs correctly; to talk about your dream job by using “want to be...”, “be going to ...” 教学难点： to catch the key words to finish listening activities 教学过程 Stage One: Lead in When I was a little girl.I wanted to be an English teacher, because I like English and it is very interesting. So I worked hard and practiced English every day. Now, I am an English teacher. My dream comes true. 【设计意图】教师用自己小时候的理想职业和如何努力实现梦想的小故事来引出本节课的话题和重点句型，导入直接且高效。 Stage Two: Presentation Activity 1: Learn the words about dream jobs(1a) Step one：Look at the pictures and read new words about dream jobs. Step two: Brainstorming--What other jobs do you know? 【设计意图】利用已学句型“what does he/she do?”以旧带新、英英释义、“积木音标教学法”呈现本节课的新词，确保“词不离句、句不离图”，发展学生语言能力；头脑风暴尽可能多地拓展职业词汇，引导学生观察、发现和归纳职业词汇的规律（词缀法）,学思结合，培养学生英语学科核心素养中的思维品质(Some job words usually end with -er/-or/-ist)。该活动属于英语学习活动观中学习理解类活动。 Step three: Create a big real situation to make all the main characters of this class have a relationship. 【设计意图】创设大语境，串联人物，主线清晰。 Step four: Listen and fill in the blanks. 【设计意图】灵活使用教材，改编听力活动（1b）为职业词汇输入环节,。 Step five: Talk about your dream with your partners. 【设计意图】先听力再对话，先输入再输出。 Activity 2: Learn the ways to make dream jobs come true. Step one: Listen and fill in the blanks. Then match the items.（1b） 【设计意图】在听力语篇中练习目标语言“be going to...”,获取信息，抓住关键词，强化听力技巧。 Step two: Provide more ways to make dream jobs come true. 【设计意图】本节课的预设难点在于学生对于未来理想的憧憬多种多样，表达理想职业和实现方式时会受到词汇的限制，教师提前做好准备，帮助学生运用相关职业词汇来谈论自己如何实现自己的理想职业。 Step three: Work in pairs and talk about your dream job and how to make it come true.（1c） 【设计意图】整合Activity1(dream jobs)和Activity2(ways to make dream jobs come true)，两两对话，内化运用目标语言进行有意义的沟通和交流,该活动属于英语学习活动观中应用实践类活动。 Activity 3: Cheng Han’s plans for future Step one: Make a prediction about Cheng Han’s dream job. 【设计意图】听前预测，大大降低听力难度和听前焦虑，提高听力效率。 Step two: Listen. What is Cheng Han going to do? Check(√) the correct boxes in the picture. Step three: Listen again. What are Cheng Han’s plans for the future? Complete the chart. 【设计意图】为了降低听力难度（写句子），改编和重新设计了有梯度的听力任务（挖空填词或短语）。2a,2b听力训练的方式，让学生更深层次地理解和巩固所学目标语言，并提取和处理相关信息完成相应的听力任务，与此同时也达到了提高学生听力技巧的目的。 Activity 4: Summary--how do we talk about dream jobs？ 【设计意图】运用思维导图，回顾并归纳所学，形成结构框架，有利于写作课。 Stage Three: Practice Activity 5: Practice- talk about your dream job 【设计意图】运用所学进行初步的语言实践，鼓励学生大胆开口，巩固所学的功能句型。 Activity 6: Ken’s plans for future Step one: Look at the picture and make a prediction: What does Ken want to be when he grows up? 【设计意图】培养学生“看”的语言技能和提升英语学科核心素养中的学习能力：预测能力。 Step two: Read the conversation and answer questions. 【设计意图】在对话语篇中，再次学习和运用目标语言；让学生带着任务和问题阅读对话，帮助学生更好地理解对话内容。 Activity 7: Work hard for dream jobs 【设计意图】用本节课的人物主线，来践行育人为本的教育理念，培养学生为了理想信念不断奋斗的优良品质，体现英语学科核心素养的文化意识的要求。 Activity 8 : Homework Choice1 Conclude the words about jobs. Choice2 Ask your parents about their dreams.
