In fact, some countries are already working to solve this problem. South Korea has passed a law to stop children under 16 from playing online games between midnight and 6 a.m. And children under 12 have to be watched by their parents while using the Internet. At the beginning of my journey of learning Peking opera, I had great confidence (自信) that I was able 91 it excellently. Later I found out I was wrong.
The 92 part of all is that a singer has to first understand the feelings of a character. Once, I acted as Lin Chong, the hero of Heroes of the Marshes (《水浒传》). It was difficult for me to understand him why he was 93 to Liangshan on a snowy night. I couldn’t sing or act as if I truly was Lin though I have tried hundreds of times, so I became more and more 94 .
My teacher, a master of Peking opera, who is already in his 95 , seemed to find out what I was going through. He walked closer to me, “You will make it when your feelings 96 with the characters’ feelings. It’s the secret to performing. There will be a long way to go before you can 97 . Clear away the tears from your eyes and keep practicing!”
After listening to my teacher’s touching words, I suddenly felt awake. I carried Heroes of the Marshes to review the story 98 I went and tried my hardest to satisfy all the needs for the role. I learned that in order not to be found by others, Lin stepped on the way to Liangshan in the cold moonlight 99 , full of sadness and loneliness. Because he had to leave his family, friends and everything else he had. I spent several evenings throwing myself into his life experiences.
From learning Peking opera, not only did I get a chance to learn about heroes in traditional Chinese culture but I also improved the way of learning. In the end I beat all the other 100 and won the first place in a show.

In many people’s eyes, plants are quiet and not active. For example, they can’t talk. They can’t walk. And they can’t think like us.
Or can they? The Green Planet, a new BBC documentary series (系列纪录片), gives us a new look at plants. After it came out on January 10, people can watch it on Bilibili. And it tells people about the wonderful and surprising ways that plants perform.
Plants fight against each other to live. In tropical rainforests, different kinds of plants fight for sunlight. The forest floor is described as a “battlefield (战场)”in the series, since only two percent of the sunlight gets to it finally. Some plants like Monstera spread their big leaves to reach more sunlight. At the same time, they are caught up in a vine that tries to get a ride to go higher for sunlight. But a balsa tree grows faster than the other two plants, because it has slippery hairs (湿滑的茸毛) on its leaves which make it impossible for a vine to get a hold.
Plants also help each other and even communicate. In deserts, the roots of some trees are connected. If a tree finds water, it will share the water with others through the roots. Studies also show that plants use fungus (真菌) in the soil (土壤) as a way to “talk” to each other. If a tomato plant gets a leaf illness, it can tell nearby plants about it so that they can keep away from the illness.
The series not only lets us feel surprised at the plant world but pushes us to understand that plants are important. “Plants are the basis of all life, including ourselves. We depend on them for all the food that we eat and the air that we breathe,” said David Attenborough, presenter of the documentary. It’s time to look after wild plants just as carefully as our house plants.
A documentary series about plants—The Green Planet
It changes our common ideas about plants: Plants are not as quiet and inactive as we think.
Plants are the 106 of each other.
e.g. In tropical rainforests, plants fight each other for sunlight:
*plants like Monstera—make use of the 107 of their leaves to get more sunlight.
*the vine—gets a ride on other plants to grow higher to get more sunlight.
*the balsa tree—grows faster to get more sunlight because it can 108 being caught up in a vine with its slippery hairs.
Plants help and communicate with each other.
*In deserts some trees share water through the connected roots.
*Some plants communicate through fungus in the soil.
e.g. The sick tomato plant can 109 its neighbors against the illness.
It reminds us of 110 .
*Plants are the basis of all life.
*They provide us with food and air.
*They should be taken good care of.

【原文】
Wuyi Rock Tea is a kind of Oolong tea. The tea trees grow in Wuyi Mountain in Fujian province, so it gets this name. And the traditional home of Rock Tea is only from a small area in the mountain. In 2006, the government added the skills of making Wuyi Rock Tea to a list, which meant they would be protected by more people around the country. Richard Yu is a master of making Wuyi Rock Tea. In 1980, he started learning the skills. But it was a big challenge. In 1990, he could finally make the tea by himself. There are 13 steps to make it, including shaking, drying and cooking. Shaking was the most difficult. It requires Yu to know when to stop shaking based on the color. But this needs patience and experience. Sometimes he stops after shaking several times, while sometimes it can be hundreds of times. With three main processes, it usually takes more than 20 hours! Each process needs temperatures from 125 to 155°C. Tea makers have to keep a close eye on it and turn over the leaves every 50 minutes, or it might burn. Yu is still learning because the most fascinating part is that every step is full of changes: different tea trees, weather and temperatures. Every time is an adventure.
