He/She is … 教学难点： 1. 理解现在进行时的表意功能。 教学过程 Step1 Pre－task procedure 1. Warming-up 播放英语童谣“Twinkle Twinkle little star”激发学生学习兴趣，引出新授单词diamond以及新句型 ... be like ...并进行操练。 2. Lead-in 幸福小学的孩子们为了寻找钻石，于是他们在假期来了一次户外远足，引出本课要讨论的话题“An outing”。 Step2 While－task procedure 1. PPT出示图片，讲授新词hill并和mountain 作比较。让学生通过图示理解at the hill是在山脚的意思，on the hill是在山坡上，at the top of the hill是指在山顶上。 2. 通过听录音、观察图片1引出词汇map以及词组a map of...的表达。 3. 分段学习课文，通过听音、图文阅读的方式和学生完成问答练习。 T：Now listen to the first dialogue, then answer my questions. What is Peter doing? Where are the children? What are they looking for（寻找）? 通过图示让学生明白：Where are they?和What are they doing?两个问题。 T: Now listen to the second dialogue, then answer my questions. 1. Where are they now? 2. What can they find? 3. What does the letter say? 学生边听边思考老师的问题，老师帮助学生理解单词letter。 T: Let’s continue study the third and the fourth dialogue, and read them by yourself .Then discuss and answer these questions in groups. 1. Where are they now? 2. What do they find at the top of Green Hill? 3. What does the letter say? 学生认真进行图文阅读并讨论，老师帮助学生理解单词another。 T：Can they find the diamond? S：Yes, they find the “diamond”. It’s a lake. Step3 Consolidation 1. Put the sentences in order. 学生在理解故事大意的基础上，将下面的句子按正确的顺序排序。 a. Peter finds a letter beside the Big Stone. b. Peter reads the map. c. Peter finds another letter. d. Joe finds the Big Stone. e. The children find the “diamond”. 2. Let’s read. 请同学们齐读单词，复习单词。 3. Play a game.通过荒岛选木筏的游戏与学生互动，复习本课的重点现在进行时。 Step4 Emotion: 学生欣赏One day的视频，感悟到Enjoy happy outing, enjoy happy life.希望学生热爱自然风光，并喜欢上户外运动。 Step5 Homework 1.
