Greeting 2. Sing a song: Daming is having a party 3. Sharp eyes 4.Lead-in T: Wow, what a great day! Daming has a great day on his birthday, too. And he has got many presents. (设计意图:通过歌曲和游戏重现重点知识,激发学生兴趣,初步感知本课关于大明生日的主题和重点语法知识。) II. Task-Presentation 任务呈现,激发动机 We'll revise the texts about Daming's birthday and his presents. Then we'll prepare presents to our school ---Write reports about the Art Festival for school's birthday and edit wechat public account.我们将复习有关大明生日和礼物的文章。然后准备我们给学校的礼物 ---为庆祝学校生日举行的艺术节写报道并编辑微信公众号. (设计意图:呈现本课任务,激发学生的学习动机,明确本课的学习目的。) Ⅲ. Text review 文本再现,梳理知识 1.Listen and number. (Review Module3 Unit2) T:Look, what are they? Ss:They are some photos. T: Who gave them to Daming as presents? Ss: Simon. T:They’re about their picnic.Daming and Simon took the food to the park. But the ducks had a picnic! What an interesting day! The pictures are beautiful but in the wrong order. Let’s help Daming to put them into the right order. Listen and number them. Ss listen and number. Then check the answer. (设计意图:通过听的活动唤醒学生对课文的记忆,初步呈现本课的主线之一。) 2.Watch and talk. (Review Module5 Unit2) T:Look at this girl. She is Daming’s friend Betty. Where is she in the picture? S:She is on a train. T:Yes,she is on a trip so she can’t go to Daming’s birthday party, but she sent a video to Daming. Let’s watch and finish the passage. Ss watch the video and fill in the blanks. Then check the answer. T: What are they doing in the video? Ss choose the way to practise.They can practise in pairs or groups. They can also practise by themselves. Not happy... T: To be tolerant and calm, to accept kindly. T: Daming’s birthday is special this year. Because it’s an American birthday. How do we celebrate birthdays in China and in the Western countries? Are they the same? What are the differences? Why?
