一、教材分析
本课是外研社版新标准英语小学一年级起点四年级上册第九模块第二单元I bumped my head. 本模块的主要内容是询问过去的行为和描述自己遭遇的事故。本课的课文情境则是医院的护士询问来看病的小朋友发生了什么事情,弄清楚之后可以判断该把他们送到哪个科室去看医生。在第一单元已学习描述遭遇事故的基础上,本课将知识点进行综合和拓展,继续学习如何描述生活中常见的事故遭遇。这一话题的选择贴近生活,适合学生们反复操练,并在医患角色扮演的任务活动中学以致用。
二、学情分析
四年级的学生处于小学中段,他们具备一定的英语学习优势,如,记忆力优势、积极参与优势、亲师优势、不害羞优势等。他们已积累了三年多的英语学习经验,已初步养成良好的英语学习习惯,储备了扎实的英语语言功底,形成了较强的英语学习能力。本课描述遭遇事故的内容,具有真实性与生活性特点。因此,较易激发学生的参与和学习兴趣。通过第一单元的学习,学生能够简单描述摔倒和碰撞事故。本课扩大事故范围,结合以前所学的疾病,能准确灵活运用所学语言描述自己的疾病或者遭遇。
三、教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
功能:询问并描述过去的行为和遭遇的事故。
语法:全体学生能运用What happened to you? I bumped my head.
词汇:全体学生能运用cut, finger;部分学生能运用hurt, knee.
语音:cut中字母“u”的发音;一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的语音语调。
(二)语言技能目标
听:全体学生能听懂What happened to you? I bumped my head.及课文。
说:全体学生运用“What happened to you? I bumped my head.”等描述常见的事故遭遇。
读:全体学生能认读cut, finger;部分学生能认读hurt, knee.
写:全体学生能在图片或关键词提示下写出相关单词和语句。
