一、教学目标
(一)知识目标
1. 学生能够复习巩固Unit6中所学的关于数字(one - ten)、颜色(red, yellow, blue, green, black, white, orange, brown, pink, purple)、动物(dog, cat, rabbit, monkey, duck, panda, bear, elephant, tiger, lion)等词汇。
2. 学生能够熟练运用句型“How many... are there? There is/are...”来询问和描述物品的数量。
3. 学生能够理解并运用句型“What color is it? It's...”来询问和回答物体的颜色。
4. 学生能够听懂、会说、认读关于动物特征和喜好的短语,如“like carrots”(喜欢胡萝卜)、“has a long nose”(有一个长鼻子)等。
(二)能力目标
1. 通过各种形式的复习活动,如游戏、对话、阅读等,提高学生的听、说、读、写能力。
2. 培养学生的观察能力、思维能力和语言运用能力,使其能够在实际情境中灵活运用所学知识进行交流。

1. 激发学生学习英语的兴趣,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中复习知识,增强学习的自信心。

二、教学重难点
(一)教学重点
1. 复习巩固Unit6中所学的词汇和句型,包括数字、颜色、动物及相关的描述短语和句型。
2. 能够准确运用“How many... are there? There is/are...”和“What color is it? It's...”进行问答交流。
(二)教学难点
1. 学生能够区分“There is”和“There are”的用法,并能根据实际情况正确运用。
2. 引导学生将所学的词汇和句型综合运用到实际情境中,进行有条理的表达和交流。
三、教学准备
1. 多媒体课件、单词卡片、动物图片、彩色气球、实物道具(如玩具动物、彩色铅笔等)、奖励小贴纸。
2. 学生准备自己制作的动物卡片(可以画上自己喜欢的动物,并标注动物名称和颜色)。
四、教学过程
(一)Warming-up
1. Greetings
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today?
Ss: Hello, teacher. I'm fine, thank you. And you?
T: I'm very well too. Nice to see you.
设计意图:通过日常问候,拉近师生距离,营造轻松和谐的课堂氛围,为课堂教学做好准备。
2. Sing a song
T: Let's sing a song together. “The number song”.(播放歌曲视频,师生一起唱)

(二)Revision of numbers
1. Counting game
T: Now, let's play a counting game. I'll show you some things. You count them and say the numbers in English. For example, look at the balloons on the screen.(展示课件上的气球图片)How many balloons are there?
Ss: One, two, three... ten. There are ten balloons.
T: Very good. Now, look at these apples.(展示苹果图片)How many apples are there?
S1: One, two, three... five. There are five apples.

2. Number flashcards
Show the number flashcards quickly to the students. The students read the numbers aloud as fast as they can.
T: Look at the flashcards. What's the number?
Ss: It's one/two/three...

3. Math problems with numbers
Write some simple math problems on the blackboard, such as “2 + 3 =?”, “5 - 1 =?”, “4 × 2 =?”. Ask the students to answer them in English.
T: Who can answer this math problem? What's two plus three?
S2: It's five.
T: Great. How about this one? Five minus one is...
S3: It's four.

(三)Revision of colors
1. Color guessing game
Show some color cards with only a small part of the color visible. Ask the students to guess the color.
T: What color is it? Guess!
S1: Is it red?
T: No, it isn't.
S2: Is it blue?
T: Yes, it is. You're right. Now, let's try another one.(展示另一张颜色卡片)

2. Color and object matching
Show some pictures of objects in different colors, such as a red apple, a yellow banana, a blue sky, a green tree, etc. Ask the students to match the objects with the corresponding colors.
T: Look at these pictures. What color is the apple?
Ss: It's red.
T: Good. And what color is the banana?
S3: It's yellow.

(四)Revision of animals
1. Animal flashcards
Show the animal flashcards one by one. The students say the names of the animals aloud.
T: What's this?
Ss: It's a dog.
T: Yes. Next one. What's this?
Ss: It's a cat.

2. Animal characteristics and actions
Describe the characteristics and actions of some animals and ask the students to guess what animal it is.
T: It has a long tail and it can climb trees. What animal is it?
S1: Is it a monkey?
T: Yes, you're right. Now, I'll describe another one. It has a big body and a long nose. What animal is it?
S2: It's an elephant.

3. Dialogues about animals
Create some dialogues about animals with the students.
T: Do you like animals?
Ss: Yes, we do.
T: What's your favorite animal?
S3: My favorite animal is a panda. It's very cute.
T: Why do you like pandas?
S3: Because they are black and white and they look very lovely.
T: Very good. Now, ask your partner about his/her favorite animal.(学生两两一组进行对话练习,询问对方最喜欢的动物及原因)

(五)Revision of sentences
1. “How many...” sentence pattern practice
(1) Show some pictures of groups of animals or objects. Ask the students to use “How many... are there?” to ask about the number of things in the pictures and then answer using “There is/are...”.
For example, show a picture of three dogs.
T: Look at this picture. How many dogs are there?
Ss: How many dogs are there?
T: There are three dogs.(引导学生一起回答)
Now, you try. Look at this picture of some apples.(展示苹果图片)How many apples are there?
S4: How many apples are there?
Ss: There are five apples.
(2) Group work
Divide the students into groups. Each group is given a set of pictures. They take turns to ask and answer questions using the “How many...” sentence pattern.
设计意图:通过图片展示,让学生练习“How many...”句型,复习询问物品数量的表达方式,并引导学生用“There is/are...”进行回答,培养学生的观察能力和语言运用能力。小组活动可以让学生在合作中学习,提高学生的团队协作能力和口语交流能力。
2. “What color...” sentence pattern practice
(1) Show some pictures of colored objects. Ask the students to use “What color is it?” to ask about the color of the object and then answer using “It's...”.
For example, show a picture of a red car.
T: What color is it?
Ss: What color is it?

Now, look at this picture of a flower.(展示花朵图片)What color is it?

(2) Pair work
Ask the students to work in pairs. One student points to an object in the classroom or on their own animal card and asks “What color is it?”, and the other student answers “It's...”. Then they exchange roles.

3. Combine the two sentence patterns
Show some pictures with both animals/objects and colors. Ask the students to make sentences using “How many... are there?” and “What color is it?”.
For example, show a picture of two blue birds.
T: Look at this picture. How many birds are there?
Ss: There are two birds.
T: What color are they?
Ss: They are blue.
Then ask the students to make more complex sentences, such as “There are two blue birds.” or “How many blue birds are there? There are two.”

(六)Text review
1. Listen and repeat
Open the textbook to the relevant pages of Unit6. Play the audio of the text dialogues or passages. The students listen and repeat sentence by sentence, paying attention to the pronunciation, intonation and rhythm.
T: Now, let's listen to the text. Listen carefully and repeat after it.(播放课文音频)
设计意图:通过听读课文,让学生复习课本中的语言内容,纠正发音,培养语感,加深对课文的理解和记忆。
2. Role-play the text
Divide the students into groups. Each group assigns roles to the students and role-plays the text dialogues or passages. They can use the props they have prepared or make some simple actions to make the performance more vivid.
T: Now, let's role-play the text. You can use your animal cards or other props to make it more interesting.(学生分组进行角色扮演)
After the role-plays, ask some groups to come to the front and perform for the class. The other students watch and listen carefully.

3. Explain the key points in the text
While the students are role-playing or after they finish, go over the key words, phrases and sentence patterns in the text. Explain the meanings and usages of them, and give some examples to help the students understand better.
T: In this text, we have some important phrases and sentence patterns. For example, “like carrots” means...(讲解课文中的重点短语和句型)

(七)Practice and extension
1. Group activity: Make a zoo
Divide the students into groups. Each group is given a large piece of paper and some colored pens or crayons. They work together to design a zoo on the paper. They need to draw different animals, write the names of the animals and describe their colors and characteristics using the words and sentences we have learned. They can also add some numbers to show how many animals of each kind there are.
For example:
There are three pandas in our zoo. They are black and white. They like bamboo.
There are five monkeys. They are brown. They like bananas. They can climb trees.
...
After they finish, each group presents their zoo to the class and explains what they have drawn and written.

Prepare some bingo cards with pictures of different animals, colors and numbers on them. Each card has a 3x3 or 4x4 grid. The teacher calls out words or phrases related to animals, colors and numbers, such as “a red dog”, “three blue birds”, “a panda that likes bamboo”. The students mark the corresponding pictures on their bingo cards if they have them. The first student to get a full row, column or diagonal marked wins the game.
T: Now, let's play a game called Animal Bingo. Here are your bingo cards. Listen carefully to what I say and mark the pictures on your cards.(给学生发放宾果卡片,开始游戏)

1. Review the key words and sentence patterns
T: What have we learned today? Let's review together. We have reviewed the numbers from one to ten, the colors like red, yellow, blue... and the animals such as dog, cat, panda... We also learned how to ask and answer questions about the number and color of things using “How many... are there?” and “What color is it?”. And we practiced using these words and sentences to describe animals and things in different situations.

2. Encourage students

(九)Homework
1. Review the words and sentences we learned in Unit6. Write down five sentences using “How many... are there?” and “What color is it?” to describe the things in your room or around you.
