《Living Legends》教学设计 1、 课题及授课班级 （1） 课题：Living Legends （2） 授课班级：高一（10）班 2、 教学对象分析 授课班是我校高一平行班，学生的英语水平为中等程度，学习积极性高，有英语单科尖子。经过将近三个月的学习，学生初步掌握了一些阅读技巧，并积累了一定的词汇和句型。但是学生的口语表达并不流利，不懂得如何描述一个人物。 3、 教学内容分析 本节课的主题是“了解体育界的活传奇--郎平和迈克尔·乔丹”，属于互动交流型阅读课型。整节课围绕“如何描述一个体育界传奇人物”展开教学活动，通过“问题驱动课堂”教学法确定教学课题，采用“支架教学法”开展教学设计，由课前布置学生拼写课本中的重点单词与短语以为顺利阅读扫清障碍，然后通过阅读文本、总结大意、填写挖空来深入了解两位传奇人物的身份特征--面对的困难或者面对困难的态度--所获得的成就这三大方面的内容，并引导学生关注杂志类文章的修辞手法，再到课堂上完成半开放式的口语活动（控制性交际模式）突破口语难点，为学生完成阅读任务、丰富话题素材、拓展思路和口头描述奠定基础。 4、 教学目标 （1） 读--阅读文本，分析文章体裁特点、文章结构、段落信息整合及安排和语体风格。 （2） 写--把重点词汇分成：身份特征（identity）,面对的困难及态度（the attitude to face difficulties）和所取得的成就（achievement）。 （3） 说--使用重点词汇描述一个体育界的活传奇。 5、 教学重难点 指导学生通过阅读杂志类文本，深入了解郎平和乔丹的传奇历史，总结出他们的身份特征等重点信息，并能了解文章的修辞手法，运用重点词汇描述一个体育界的活传奇。 6、 教学方法与手段 自主学习；小组合作学习。 7、 教学步骤 Teaching procedure Teaching activities Purposes Warming Up 1.
