When they arrive at the entrance, there are already a lot of people. Victor goes to the ticket office and buys two tickets. "Wow, look…" exclaims Tim, "there is a big wheel and a shooting alley and…" Tim is crazy with joy and he rushes to enter the park. Once they are in the park, our two friends visit the different stands: Duck fishing, shooting… and many more things. But they stop in front of the ball-throwing stand. Victor wants to try his luck. "Do you know how to do that, Victor? Knock down all the cans?" asks Tim. Victor thinks he does, you just have to aim well and bang! "Hurrah!" cries Tim. "You have managed to knock down all the cans. You are really good, Victor!" Victor has played so well that he has won a prize. He can choose a present and leaves with a teddy bear. "You are very talented," says Tim. In fact, Victor is very proud of his teddy bear. A bit further they come across an ice-cream seller. Our two friends really feel like having one. They each order a delicious cone with a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of strawberry. Victor would also like to go on the big rollercoaster. "Do you dare to go on that?" asks Tim who is scared. "The loops are very high and they go very, very fast." But Victor is not afraid. In that case, Tim decides to go with him. But they are measured at the entrance to the ride. "I'm sorry." the big ride attendant says to Tim, "you are still too small, you can't get on." Disappointed, Tim watches Victor climb into the car of the rollercoaster. He is sad that he can't go with him. Victor also thinks that it is a shame. "Wait right here until I come back down, won't you?" he asks him kindly. Then he sits down in the car and sets off on a crazy race on the rails high up in the sky above the amusement park. Victor finds that it's great fun, but he holds tightly onto the bar. It goes so fast! Tim looks on and watches his friend having fun on the top speed ride. Actually, he isn't really happy at all. "Phew," he signs, "I'm tired of waiting. I want to have fun in the meantime, too." He leaves, well determined to find a nice ride. When the rollercoaster stops, Victor gets out of the car. "Hey, but where has Tim got to?" he asks himself surprised. The attendant tells him laughing: "Your friend didn't find it fun waiting. I told him to go and visit the mirror palace." Victor sets off in search of Tim straight away. He heads off towards the mirror palace. He is a bit worried and hopes to find his friend quickly. Victor goes inside the mirror palace. It isn't easy finding his way about in such a labyrinth, especially with all those mirrors. Everybody is looking for the exit, but Victor cannot find his friend Tim anywhere. A bit later, Victor comes outside. He has found the way out, but not Tim. Now he is even more worried. But where could Tim be? How will I find him in such a large amusement park among all these people? He looks around him, but Tim is nowhere to be seen. Where could he have got to? Suddenly, Victor hears somebody calling his name. "Victor!" He turns round and sees Tim running towards him. "Hey, Victor, here I am. I went on the carousel with wooden horses and you didn't see me, did you?" he cries happily. Victor is relieved, but he is also angry. "Couldn't you have waited for me nicely at the rollercoaster?" asks Victor firmly. "Oh," replies his friend timidly. "I didn't find it much fun waiting for you. I wanted to have fun too." "Alright, from now on we'll stay together the whole time, because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find you," decides Victor. Like two good friends, Victor and Tim continue their walk through the amusement park. On the way, Tim gets a balloon. "That way, I will be able to spot you in the crowd," Victor tells him laughing. Then they arrive at the rapids ride and a pirate ship. "Look, that's great!" exclaims Tim. "We could also go on the water in a tree trunk!" Victor agrees. As soon as they climb into the tree trunk, it sets off. As first, the water is calm, then it goes faster and faster. Finally, they hurtle down a waterfall at top speed. The water swirls about in all directions. Tim and Victor have great fun and shout with joy. Even the onlookers chuckle seeing them having such fun. But even the water ride comes to an end and our friends are laughing as they set off soaking wet. "What shall we do now?" asks Tim. "I think we had better go home," replies Victor. It must be said that the day is nearly over and our friends are tired. Arm in arm, they leave the amusement park, happily remembering the great times they have shared.
