Part 1
(Para.1) A brief introduction to Yang Jingyu.
Part 2
(Para.2) Major events about Yang Jingyu.
Part 3
(Para.3) People's opinions of Yang Jingyu.
如本文以时间为序(in 1927, in 1937, in 1938, in early 1940, for five days, on 23 February),介绍了民族英雄杨靖宇的生平及主要贡献。
(1)第一段分别使用动词短语was born in, joined the ..., became leader of ..., fought a guerrilla war against,寥寥数语就将杨靖宇的生平交代得一清二楚。
(2)第二段使用短语a large number of troops, a critical lack of supplies, fought on alone, a large unit of Japanese troops烘托当时杨靖宇所处的险境,衬托出其不屈服、不放弃,奋勇杀敌的光辉形象。尾句使用了一系列短语cut open his body, only tree bark, cotton and grass roots和not a single grain of rice in his stomach,既描绘了敌军的残忍,也塑造了杨靖宇以草根、棉絮充饥,以难以想象的毅力坚持和敌人进行顽强斗争直到最后一刻的伟岸形象。

after winning the championships in a row.

guns and men
with great honours

When David was nine and Laura was twelve, the battles started. Before that, they got along great. Laura was always protective of her little brother, and he in turn was very fond of her.
Maybe it was about needing space or demanding independence. Whatever the reason was, it drove my husband and me crazy. It would start over the smallest of excuses. One minute the house would be quiet, and the next they'd be shouting at one another. And on and on it would go. Until, finally, one of us would have to step in. And there would be a truce (停战) ...sort of. At least until the next fight. Our once happy home was being turned into a war area.
One night, in hopelessness, we called the kids into the living room and told them how upsetting their behaviour was. We asked them for ideas about how we could regain peace in the family.
We asked each of them to come up with a half dozen appropriate results that we could apply the next time they had a fight.
The following day we were presented with a list of results from each. Some even looked pretty good. Examples: Clean the other person's room; Do the dishes for the other person; Hug and make up, etc.
We decided to arrange those results around the edge of a board, and then we attached a spinning arrow (旋转箭头) in the middle. When you gave it a spin, the arrow would finally stop and point to one of the results. Then we hung the board up in the kitchen. We crossed our fingers, and waited.
It was amazing. Just the existence of the board, hanging on our kitchen wall, had an immediate calming effect on the atmosphere in our home. But it only took about ten days before peace was destroyed by another battle. So we called them both into the kitchen.
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;
We took the board down off the wall and placed it on the table.
____________________________________________________
In the same spirit, we ended up making boards with other themes.
____________________________________________________
We took the board down off the wall and placed it on the table. With heads down, both kids dared not speak, wondering what punishments would land on them. After what seemed hours, Laura broke the ice, “I'm sorry, Mom and Dad, but I really can't stand it, I mean, David's smelly socks and dirty clothes and ...” David cut in angrily, “Huh, who else would leave paints and crayons everywhere? What a torture to clean your room!” It seemed that another war would start. I stopped them, asking hesitantly, “Could we make a change of the board?” “Approval!” they yelled, eyes sparkling with interest. After discussion, we agreed to erase the words from the board but left “Hug and make up”.
In the same spirit, we ended up making boards with other themes. Examples: Keep silent for five minutes; Look in the mirror and smile; Send a handmade gift ... Soon around the edge of the board appeared a dozen appropriate results. We put the board back onto the kitchen wall. In the later months, we changed those words for the better and fresher. Miraculously, with fights and tears getting fewer, our house was filled with hugs and laughter. Action speaks louder or words do wonders? Who knows?

On Labor Day, I watched a British movie named 1917.As indicated by the title,1917 is set in the disorder and confusion of World War Ⅰ. 1
Two British young soldiers,Blake and Schofield, are awakened from what could have only been a few minutes of sleep. 2 A few miles away, another company (连队), including Blake's brother, has planned an attack in a few hours, designed to push the Germans back even farther following a recent retreat (撤退).
However, recent intelligence suggests that the retreat is a trick that will land them in an ambush that will cost thousands of British lives. 3 Therefore,Blake and Schofield are ordered to head on foot to that company in order to call off the attack before it can start,a journey that will force them to travel through the enemy territory. They witness carnage (大屠杀), and one of them happens to stick his hand into the open wound of a dead body.
The movie is not only known for its unbroken shot (连续镜头) but also for its adaptation of a true story from its director Sam Mendes' grandfather.Through the eyes of Blake and Schofield, the movie shows the horror of a war that cost the lives of countless innocent people. 4
Through this classic and moving movie, we can learn the preciousness of peace and the evil of war. 5 We ought to always think about how we can prevent war and how we can achieve peace.
A.It can lead to disorder.
B.The radio line was down.
C.They join the army during World War Ⅰ.
D.They are ordered to report for a new assignment.
E.We also know that we should always try our best to defend the former.
F.As the US scientist Benjamin once said:“There never was a good war, or a bad peace.”
G.It takes place in and around the socalled “no man's land” in northern France, separating British and German troops.
