I was a shy girl, afraid to speak loudly in class. And I was even afraid to start conversations with other people. I knew I lack confidence, but I'm just afraid to change.
Then I read an article that said confidence led to success. Instead of being afraid of everything, I should take my courage in both hands and make some changes. Once I would keep quiet rather than speak out my thoughts. Now, I force myself to say something, to make friends with strangers. Instead of lowing my head, I would smile confidently and make eye contact with others.
Now, I stop being a shy and quiet girl who nobody would notice. Instead, I become more confident. I appear confident, speak confidently, and act confidently. By being confident, I become both happier and more successful.
