Have students answer the third question in A3 on page 4. We can do more research on the news source. For example, we can find out more about the news agency, and the stand it takes. We could read or watch other materials from the source so we can get a further impression of the perspective their news usually takes and how trustworthy it seems. 6. Have students discuss what other mass media content should be read critically Besides reading news reports, critical reading should also be adopted especially where the writing is meant to persuade readers into believing something.
