Relative Clause(定语从句)【 “介词+关系代词which/whom” 引导的定语从句】 定语从句除了由关系代词、关系副词引导之外,还可以由“介词+关系代词which/whom”引导。在此结构中,先行词指人时关系代词用whom,不可以用who或that; 先行词指物时关系代词用which,不能用that。我们可以通过“先行词与介词的搭配习惯”,“从句中动词与先行词的逻辑关系”,以及定语从句的意义 来确定合适的介词,即“一先二动三意义”。 此外,非限制性定与从句中,要表示先行词的一部分时,可用“名词/数词/代词 + of + 关系代词which/whom”的结构 a) 教材例句 1.
