课 时 教 案 课题:Grammar and usage (2) U3B4 第 2 课时 总序第9个教案 课型: New lesson 编写时间:2024年9月6日 执教时间:2024年9月10日 教学目标: 批 注 1. use the right forms of verb-ing and verb-ed to finish related tasks; 2. apply verb-ing and verb-ed forms in new situations. 教学重点: use the right forms of verb-ing and verb-ed to finish related tasks; 教学难点:apply verb-ing and verb-ed forms in new situations. 教学用具:Multi-media 教学方法:Group work, discussion 教学实施过程: 1. Have students finish B1 on page 35. 1) The art show in town next week sounds appealing (appeal). 2) The old man was amazed (amaze) by the paintings on show. 3) I find the soft colours in this painting very relaxing (relax). 4) The public were pleased (please) that they would have free access to these exhibitions. 5) The gallery staff looked very tired (tire) after working all day. 2. Have students finish B2 on page 35, and then fill in a table. Answer: (1) surprising (2) concerned (3) prepared (4) satisfying (5) encouraging More personal experience, less camera flashes Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum: waging the Big Draw campaign, encouraging visitors to keep their smartphones in their pockets or bags and pick up paper and pencils instead helping visitors discover and appreciate the beauty of art, architecture and history through drawing Some museums: asking people to learn about the artworks first before their visit 3. Have students finish B3 on page 35. In pairs, describe the paintings below using verb-ing and verb-ed forms as predicatives. 批 注 Possible answer: A: The first painting is interesting because it shows a real-life situation and there is a lot of detail showing the women and the fish. The women also seem tired. B: I agree. Perhaps this is something that they do every day—it is not surprising or exciting. Therefore, the painter decided to paint this scene using colours that are dark and depressing. A: Yes, you’re right. When I look at the second painting, I feel relaxed. I can imagine the two birds singing sweetly in the tree. B: That’s true. Even though the colours in the second painting are similar to those in the first one, the natural scene and the landscape in the background are definitely more pleasing. 4. Have students write several sentences about what kind of paintings they like best and explain the reasons, using verb-ing and verb-ed forms. I like the Impressionist works best. Many realistic works are more like photos rather than paintings to me. The Impressionist works provide viewers with a lot of imaginative space to interact with the works, leaving us wandering around the farmlands, ponds and plants. Seeing this always makes me excited. 5. Have students finish Part C in workbook 1) It seems that he is not very pleased to see us. 2) The research proved more difficult than expected, but the success of the experiment was encouraging. 3) Jack sat on the couch, looking completely relaxed. 4) Though living far away from each other, my friend and I stay connected through the Internet. 5) The teacher’s love for his students was very moving. 6) The journey to the top of the mountain was really challenging. 教学反思: 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$
