Your school wants to start some new sports clubs. Which clubs would best fit students’ interests and needs? Do a survey and write up the survey results.

A survey is a method of gathering information from a sample of individuals about their opinions, attitudes, behaviors, or characteristics. Surveys can be conducted through various means such as online, telephone, mail, or in-person interviews.

4. Carry out the survey
Collect data from your target population.
Each group member choose three classmates (schoolmates) and asks the questions from the decided list. Write down their answers.

When you make a survey, it’s important to pay special attention to:
1. Question order:
Arrange the questions in a logical order that makes
sense to the respondent.
2. Survey length:
Keep the survey as short as possible, while still
gathering all necessary information.
3. Data analysis:
Make sure you have a clear plan for analyzing the
data and drawing conclusions from the results.
