英语 九年级上册 冀教版 练闯考 单元同步语法精讲精练 一、should的用法 should作情态动词，后面接动词原形，没有人称和数的变化。否定形式在其后面加上not，可以缩写为shouldn't。变为一般疑问句时，需把should提到主语之前。它的用法主要有： 1．表示劝告、建议。 We should go to the hospital right now.我们应该立刻去医院。 As a student, Tony should never smoke.作为学生，托尼决不应该吸烟。 You shouldn't get to school too late.你不应该到达学校太晚。 2．表示征求同意或征询意见，用于主语为第一人称的疑问句。 Should I close the door？我应该关门吗？ When should we visit the museum？我们应该什么时候参观博物馆？ Where should I put the bike？我应该把自行车放在哪里？ 二、need的用法 1．在肯定句中，通常用作实义动词，意为“需 要”，有人称和数的变化。其常见用法有： (1)need sth. 需要某物 Plants need water to grow.植物生长需要水。 (2)need to do sth. 需要做某事(主语为人) Bob needs to take an X­ray.鲍勃需要拍X光。 (3)need doing sth.＝ need to be done (某物)需要(被)……(主语为物) The room needs cleaning. ＝ The room needs to be cleaned.房间需要打扫。 2．在否定句和疑问句中作情态动词，意为“需要”。 Lucy, you needn't wake up so early.露西，你不需要醒那么早。 —Need we go there right now？我们需要立刻去那里吗？ —Yes, you must./No, you needn't.是的，你们必须。/不，你们不必。 【注意】①need用在疑问句中，肯定回答一般用must；否定回答用needn't。 ②回答带有must的一般疑问句的时候，否定回答常用needn't，而不用mustn't。 —Must I go now？我必须现在走吗？ —No, you needn't.不，你不必。 一、单项选择。 ( )1.To keep children away from danger during the coming summer holiday, parents ________ give them some safety tips.
