What are their Chinese and English names? What else do you know about them? What other things do you want to know about them? Step 2 View and describe Have students look at the pictures on page 8 again and describe their looks with the help of the pictures. Step 3 Read and fill Have students listen to Millie’s introductions and complete the table. Step 4 Read and practise Have students read Millie’s introductions and finish Part A on page 9, Part B on page 9 and Part C on page 10. Step 5 Read and say Have students read and say: Who would you like to choose to make friends with? And why? Step 6 Read and think Have students read and think: How does Millie introduce herself and her classmates? Step 7 Read and learn more Have students read the passage and find out what Rosie introduces about herself. Step 8 Read and play Have students play a guessing game: One student describes one of your new classmates or teachers and the others guess who he/she is. Step 9 Read and write 1.
