Ask studerits to read the following phrases and classify them. 2. Go through the definition of phrase with students and make sure they understand its meaning. 英语中的短语通常为由两个或多个词构成的语法单位。短语是按一定的语法规则围绕一定的中心词结合起来的一组词。从形式结构角度划分，英语的短语可分为名词短语、动词短语、形容词短语、副词短语和介词短语。英语短语的句法功能通常与对应的单词的句法功能类似，比如，名词短语与名词功能相似，在句子中主要充当主语、宾语。 【设计意图】用诵读的方式激发学生的学习兴趣，让学生初步感知短语的类型，并学习短语的定义。 活动二：获取与梳理 1. Learn five types of phrases with students. （1）名词短语：以一个名词为中心构成的短语，在句中的功能相当于名词。 （2）动词短语：以动词为中心，加副词、介词或其他词构成的固定短语，其作用和动词相当。有些动词短语相当于及物动词，有些则相当于不及物动词。 【温馨提示】在动词短语中，如果宾语是名词，宾语可以放在动词短语后面或动词和副词之间；但如果宾语是代词，则应放在动词和副词之间。 ①He has put aside a little money for a rainy day. =He has put a little money aside for a rainy day. 他存了一点钱以备不时之需。 ②When you do not understand a new word, you can look it up in the dictionary.当你不理解新单词的时候，你可以查字典。 （3） 形容词短语：以形容词为中心的短语，在句中的功能相当于形容词。 （4）副词短语：以副词为中心的短语，在句中的功能相当于副词，可以修饰动词、形容词、副词或句子。 （5）介词短语：由介词和代词或名词或短语等搭配形成的短语。这类短语主要用来表示词与词、词与句之间的关系。 2.
