Language Points
1. Right at this moment, the sound of Grandpa's erhu cuts in.
E.g. She cuts in when we were talking.
They cut in while we were dacing.
2. An idea suddenly hits me: “Why don't we...”
E.g. The answer of the maths problem hit me when I was
brushing my teeth.
E.g. He rushed into the room to find his child.
3. I rush into his room...
When the bell rings, they rushed into the playground.
4. I nod to Grandpa and we fire up our instruments.
E.g. After a quick warm-up, the band fired up their drums
and guitars, ready to rock the stage.
I was late for school, so I quickly fired up my bike and rode fast.
