专题06 过去进行时 一、定义、结构、标志词、句式转换 （一）定义 表示过去某一时刻正在进行的动作，或者表示过去某一阶段一直在进行的动作。 She was dancing at that time yesterday evening.昨天晚上这个时候她在跳舞。 I was watching TV at home last night.昨晚我一直在看电视。 （二）结构：主语＋was／were＋doing The boys were drinking coffee at that time. 男孩子们在那个时候在喝咖啡 He was doing his homework at that time. 他那个时候在做作业。 （三）标志词 1．过去时间段：from...to...（从．．．到．．．）＋过去的时间 from three to six last evening；the whole morning／afternoon 整个早上／下午 2．at＋时刻＋过去的时间：at five yesterday 3．at this time（在这个时候）；at that time/moment（在那个时刻） 4．when＆while（当……时候）引导的时间状语从句 例：When I came in，she was having lunch. 当我进来的时候，她正在吃午饭。 While she was watching TV, he was reading books. 当她在看电视的时候，他在读书。 【when和while的区别】 when: ①译为“当……时候” ②主句和从句的动作发生的先后顺序：从句先发生；或主从同时发生 ③从句的动词是瞬间动词，或持续动词 ④从句的时态多为一般过去时也可以是过去进行时 ⑤还可以译为“忽然” 例子： 1. When he had finished his homework, he took a short test. （finish先完成，用过去完成时；主句的动词took后完成，用过去时） 当他完成作业后，他短暂地休息了一会儿。 2. When she was dancing, a person came in. （dance和came 同时发生，dance为延续性动词，came为短暂性动词） 当她在跳舞的时候，一个人进来了。 3. I was writing a letter when he arrived home. （rite 和arrive 同时发生，write是延续性动词，arrive是短暂性动词） 当她到家的时候，我正在写信。 4.
