Monday 26th October Cloudy
What a terrible day! I quarrelled with my best friend Sandy today. I told her a big secret at recess. I said, ‘Don’t tell anybody about this.’ She did not listen to me and told Lily my secret at lunchtime. I was very angry so I shouted at her in the playground. I yelled, ‘I hate you!’ We didn’t talk to each other all afternoon. I was very unhappy. I hope we will be friends again.
Tuesday 27th October Sunny
This morning I found a note on my desk. It was from Sandy! She wrote: ‘I am sorry. I hope you will forgive me.’ I met her in the playground and said sorry to her. I said, ‘I shouldn’t speak rudely to you. I’m sorry.’ I am very happy because we are friends again. I hope we won’t quarrel with each other again.
