There are some reasons for this. Firstly, people are busy with their work and study, and they don't have much time to read. Secondly, there are many distractions, such as smartphones and computers, which make it difficult for people to focus on reading. I think reading is very important. Firstly, reading can broaden our horizons and increase our knowledge. Secondly, reading can improve our language skills and thinking ability. Thirdly, reading can relax us and reduce our stress. Recently, I read a book called "To Kill a Mockingbird". It is a novel about racial inequality and justice. The book tells the story of a young girl named Scout and her father Atticus, who is a lawyer. Atticus defends a black man who is accused of raping a white woman. Through this story, I learned that we should treat everyone equally and fight for justice. I was deeply moved by the book and it made me think a lot. In conclusion, I hope everyone can read more books and enjoy the benefits of reading.
