Listen, say and do(Review) Teacher says the order: Wave your hand .... students speak out the corresponding word and do the action to review the content of last class. 3. Watch and enjoy Teacher plays the video of phonics. Students watch and sing after it. 4T: There are 26 letters in English. What are they? Students answer it. Teacher plays the ABC song. Students sing after it. PPT shows the letters. Step 2 Presentation 1. Teach the letter A （1） Teacher shows the picture of an apple first. T: What's this? Students answer it. PPT shows the word “apple”. Teacher takes out a picture of an apple from a bag. T: Where is the apple？ Students answer it. PPT shows the word “bag”. T: apple, bag. Can you find the similarity of the two words? (Students can answer in Chinese.) Ss: ... T: Yes! The pronunciation of the letter “a” in the two words is the same. It pronounces “/æ/” . /æ/, /æ/, /æ/, apple. /æ/, /æ/, /æ /, bag. （2） Teacher guides the students to identify and tell the difference of the letters Aa. Students are required to speak out the writing order of the letter Aa. Teacher praises the students who answer correctly and help the students who answer incorrectly correct it. （3） Students practice the letters writing. 2. Teach the letter B （1） Teacher shows a picture. T: Who’s this boy? S: Bob. (PPT shows the word “Bob”) T: Where is Bob? S: He is in the bed. (PPT shows the word “bed” ) Students observe the two words and find out the same letter they have. (Students can answer in Chinese.) T: Yes! The pronunciation of the letter “b” in the two words is the same. It pronounces “/b/”. /b/, /b/, /b/, Bod. / b/, /b/, /b /, bed. （4） Teacher guides the students to identify and tell the difference of the letters Aa. Students are required to speak out the writing order of the letter Aa. Teacher praises the students who answer correctly and help the students who answer incorrectly correct it. （5） Students practice the letters writing. 3. Teach the letter C （1） Teacher shows a picture. T: What’s this? Students try to answer it and PPT shows the word “cat”. T: What’s the cat doing? Students try to answer it or in Chinese. PPT shows the word “can”. Students observe the two words and find out the same letter they have. T: Yes! The pronunciation of the letter “c” in the two words is the same. It pronounces “/k/”. /k/, /k/, /k/, cat. /k/, /k/, /k/, can. （2）Teacher teaches the letter the same way as the above two letters. 4. Teach the letter D （1） Teacher shows a picture. T: Is it a cat? No, it’s a dog. (PPT shows the word “dog”) T: Is the dog happy? Students try to answer “No, the dog is sad.” (PPT shows the word “sad”) Students observe the two words and find out the same letter they have. (Students can answer in Chinese.) T: Yes! The pronunciation of the letter “d” in the two words is the same. It pronounces “/d/”. /d/, /d/, /d/, dog. /d/, /d/, /d/, sad. （2）Teacher teaches the letter the same way as the above two letters. 5. Listen, repeat and chant. Let students listen to the tape carefully and pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. Show the chant of “Listen, repeat and chant” on the PPT. Play the tape again.　 Step 3 practice 1. Listen and circle the first sound. （1）Show the pictures of “Listen and circle”. Let students observe the pictures and try to predict the first sound.（2）Play the tape. Let students listen and circle the letters. （3）Check the answers with students. 2. What’s missing? Let students find out the missing letter in each word according to the pictures. Step 4 Consolidation&Extension 1. Game : Who is the fast？ Teacher makes the word cards disorder. Choose two students to come to the front. Teacher say a letter, students quickly tick out their corresponding capitalized and uncapitalized letter. The one whose speed is quicker is the winner. 2. Do the alphabet exercises. Play a video about the alphabet (A, B, C, D) exercises. Ask students to sing and do the actions after the video.
