One day, Pinty found a pencil in lovely colors, and he
tried drawing a circle (圆圈). As ever, it did not go well. He was
about to throw the pencil away when his drawing said, “Come on,
the least you can do is draw me a pair of eyes!” Pinty was
shocked, but he succeeded in drawing two little spots (小圆点)
inside the circle. “Much better, ” said the circle, “I'm sure if you
try again you'll do better.” So Pinty erased the circle and drew

another one. Like the first one, it was not very round. “Hmmm, I
think I have to teach you how to draw until you can do me well,”
said the circle. To Pinty, this did not seem like a bad idea, and he
found himself drawing and erasing circles at once.
After spending nearly the whole afternoon together, Pinty could
already draw much better. Pinty gave his new teacher a hearty
“thank you”. “I didn't do anything!” answered the little drawing.
“Don't you see you've been practicing a lot, and enjoying it all the
while? ”
The next morning Pinty woke up, took a pencil and some
paper, and tried to draw a little man. It turned out not bad at all,
except for a couple of jagged (参差不齐的) lines.

Pinty cleaned out those bits and drew again. He realized that
the crazy little teacher had been right: it made no difference
whether you had the magic pencil or not; what you only need do is

English movies and listen to English songs. I think they are relaxing
