Step 2 Pre⁃reading 1.Give students one minute to review the words and phrases in the box and then ask students to read them. 2.Let students scan the notes first and then ask them to complete the notes with the correct forms of the words and phrases in the box. 3.Check the answers together and give some advice. Step 3 While⁃reading 1.Extensive reading Ask students to read the notes quickly to conclude the main idea of the notes. 2.Intensive reading Ask students to read the notes again to answer the questions: Q1:What does Millie like? Q2:What sport is Simon good at? Q3:What does Sandy look like? Q4:What is Daniel’s favourite subject? Step 4 Post⁃reading 1.Ask students to write some sentences about themselves or one of their classmates in D. 2.Invite some students to share their sentences.
