Step 3 Work on Activity 2 and 3 1.Have students read the passage first and underline the unfamiliar words and phrases. 2.After reading,ask students to discuss what the writer did in his first lesson. 3.Ask students to choose the main idea of the passage in Activity 3. 4.Check the answer. 5.Use vocabulary cards or PPT to introduce and explain key words and expressions related to daily activities and school life. 6.Ask students to take notes of the new words and their meanings. Step 4 Work on Activity 4 1.Have students read the passage again and complete the summary with the words and expressions from the passage. 2.Check the answers. 3.Have some students retell the passage. 4.Invite some students to share and give the evaluation.
