One possible version:
An Unforgettable Friend
How time flies! I will graduate this July. In my junior high school life, Tom has become an unforgettable person for me.
When I came to the new school, he was my classmate and sat right beside me. I remembered my math was poor at that time, but he was good at calculating and solving math problems. He often got perfect scores. Of course, I wished I could improve my math. We talked with each other and I asked how he could solve those difficult problems. He was so patient and polite to answer my questions. With his help, I built my confidence in math and finally passed the final math exam. Now, although we are going to go apart, I will remember him forever. I am so thankful to my classmate Tom; he will be my best friend forever.
