Teacher: Those are wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing.
Sample:
On my first day of senior high school I wasn’t that anxious because nearly all of my old classmates were there, too. However, I was a little stressed because the lessons were more difficult than before and I had to try my best to keep up with the other students. My favourite class was chemistry, because the teacher made it really interesting and we did many experiments. I was happy because our teachers treated us like adults and all the classes, though more difficult, were more interesting.
(目的:鼓励学生分享自己的经历,提高口语表达能力和个人反思能力)
Step 6: Extra Reading Recommendation
Teacher: For those interested in exploring this topic further, I recommend reading “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. It’s a classic book that offers great insights into making positive first impressions.
(目的:推荐额外阅读材料,拓宽学生的阅读视野,增加阅读兴趣。)
Step 7: Conclusion
Teacher: To conclude today’s lesson, I want you to remember that first impressions are important but they can also evolve over time. Be mindful of your own emotions and those of others. Let’s strive to be aware and empathetic in our interactions.
