Step 1 Lead-in
复习导入:Look and predict the picture may be about Fangfang and her ________.在复习“预测”技能的基础上,引出人物Xiao Qiang,然后根据Xiao Qiang的思维导图用句子描述他的基本信息。在此基础上,引导学生根据陈述句进行提问,学习特殊疑问句,为Activity 1做准备。
Step 2 Pre-reading
Activity 1 Pair work. Ask and answer questions about your best friend.
Step 3 While-reading
1. Activity 2
①Look at the picture and predict what the text may be about.
②Read the text and check your prediction.
2. Activity 3 Read the text and mark T (True) or F (False).
3. Activity 4 Read the text again and draw thinking maps about Kangkang and his friends.
Step 4 Post-reading
Group work : Activity 5
Discuss the information about Kangkang and his friends based on Activity 4. Then introduce them to your group members.
