Step 2: Skimming ： Read the whole text again. While reading, try to answer the questions , then complete the table. And discuss in group. S: Work in group. Questions: 1) What’s the bear doing? 2) What do you think the people in the tent should do? Careful reading Read in detail: T: Let’s read the text carefully. Try to write notes about the things you must do if there are bears near. 1. Hang the food in a tree. 2. Keep the camp clean. 3. Make lots of noise. 4. Don’t make any sudden moves or make a sound if you see a bear. Answer the questions and make notes. Where is it? How can we protect ourselves? Why do people go there? What should we do to look after the place? Are there any dangers from animals? Write sentences with the notes you have made just now.
