Unit1 How tall are you Words in each unit 课标分析 《义务教育课程标准》2023年版总目标是通过英语学习，使学生形成初步的综合语言运用能力，促进心智发展，提高综合人文素养。综合语言运用能力的形成，建立在语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识各方面整体发展的基础之上。本单元通过询问身边人的年龄、身高、体重或物体的长度、重量等方式在人和人之间进行比较，从而进一步了解自己、他人和身边事物，这是基于人和自然、人和社会、人与自我三大主题语境，培育和发展英语学科核心素养的设计，引导学生正确面对客观现实，加强体育锻炼和科学饮食，形成乐观、宽容的自我认知与对他人的评价。 教材分析 本节课教学内容选自 PEP 人教版小学英语六年级下册Words in each unit Unit1 How tall are you ? 本单元主要学习形容词的比较级，教学重点在于让学生学会使用英语中形容词的比较级，并能熟练地将其运用到实际生活中，询问比较人的身高、年龄、体重或者事物的长度及尺寸，并用比较级来回答。本单元我认为学习比较需要从学生感兴趣的事物入手，关联学生的生活，发掘学生之间的真实差异，利用学生的真实变化，开展真实、有意义的比较。 本单元的教学目标： 1. 利用相关图片和真实的语境，能够让学生听、说、读、写本单元重点单词：taller,shorter,older,younger,stronger,thinner,bigger,smaller,longer,heavier 等词汇并能在真实的语境中灵活运用。 2. 能够正确使用上述单词及以下句型询问人与人之间，或其他事物之间的特征，并运用比较级的句型正确回答： -How tall are you ? –I’m...years old. -How heavy are you? - I’m...kilograms. -What size are your shoes? – My shoes are size... . ...am /is / are... than... . 3. 通过运用比较级句型，让学生能够正确认识到人与人之间的不同。 学情分析 六年级的学生已积累了一定的英语学习经验和语言知识储备，具备了初步的听说能力和一定的英语思维能力，逐步适应在活动和任务中习得英语，也能处理一些简单的语言知识和活动开展的关系。孩子们能够在教师的指导下很好的习得本课时的语言。本节课学生已经学习了本单元有关形容词比较级的词汇，也掌握了比较级的基本句型。学生对比较的场景较为熟悉，但是学生的实际应用能力有限，这就促使他们渴望能用英语解决日常生活中的实际问题。本节课我根据学生的实际语言基础和学习发展需要，选择有效的教学方式的指导思想，尽可能多地为学生创造最大化的学习机会，引导学生在尽可能真实的语境中，体验、实践、参与、探究与合作，在实践中提高自己的英语水平。 教学设计 Step1 Warming up 1.Greeting. 2.头脑风暴 Say more words about character ,such as : old , young,... 3.Let’s chant 复习旧知 Tall tall tall I am tall.
