Language Structure (2) We may go abroad. 情态动词may与might的用法 （详见重点语法） Language Structure (3) I’d like to go there, too. ’d like是would like的缩写形式 would like to do = want to do 想要做某事 e.g. I’d like to travel abroad. 我想要出国旅行。 Language Structure (4) We can’t make up our minds. make up one’s mind意为“下决心，打定主意”， 相当于动词decide； make up one’s mind to do sth. 意为“决定做某事” 注意：mind是可数名词，它的数随one’s来确定。 如本课中our minds 试一试： 他们决定把房子卖掉。 They made up their minds to sell the house. 2. 她已经决定坐飞机去那儿。 She has made up her mind to go there by plane. Language Structure Language Structure (5) Will you travel by sea or by air? 结构：这是一个选择疑问句，用or来连接。 e.g. Do you want tea or coffee? 你要喝茶还是咖啡？ 常用搭配：by sea表示“乘船” = by ship 或 take a ship by air表示“乘飞机” = by plane 或 take a plane Language Structure (6) I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourselves. enjoy yourselves = have a good time 玩得愉快 Language Structure (7) Who’s going to look after the dog/ the house/the garden? 常用短语：look after 照料，照看 = take care of e.g. 别担心我！我会照顾好自己的。 Don't worry about me! Make up a story 故事接龙 Instructions: One student says a sentence with new language structure. The next one says a different sentence with different language structure, but based on the previous student. Such as this, one by one, to make a story. Afterwards, read a full story that the students have created. Grammar Grammar 情态动词may和might的用法 课文原句重现： We may go abroad. / We may travel by sea. / It may be cheaper. / We might not go anywhere. 语法：情态动词may和might的用法区别 (1) 在表示请求、允许时，might比may的语气更委婉， 否定回答时要用mustn’t， 表示不可以。 36 Grammar e.g. 1.
