Unit4 What can you do?  C story time 一．教材分析：本教学材料选自PEP新版五年级上册，课型属于故事课，文本材料呈现的是田鼠如何机智地摆脱蛇被吃掉的厄运。在紧张的故事情节发展中复习巩固本单元核心词汇与句型。教师帮助学生通过图片和上下文帮助学生理解句子的意思，如：Don’t throw me into the lake,please!Silly snake! 二．学情分析：五年级学生已经有2年的英语学习经历，马上就要进入六年级毕业班，虽然处于高年级学段，但是我们班的孩子在生活和课堂中都是属于活泼好动的性格，喜欢直观形象思维和抽象思维相结合。本课通过阅读趣味故事，复习巩固本单元核心语言，增加语言的输入。 三．教学目标 （一）知识目标   Let Ss to understand the story and some main expressions （2） 能力目标  1.Let Ss imitate the snake and the rat. 2.Let Ss act out the story. 3.Let Ss make a new ending for the story or continue the story. （三）情感目标    发散学生思维，让学生思考如何故事新编 四．教学重难点 1.解决文本中的重难点句型，如：I can do things for you.What can you do? T:Look!Here comes a snake.(出示单词snake并教学，将蛇的图片贴在板书上） T:Where is the snake?It’s near the lake. 3.呈现图片1的录音，引出tasty food T:The snake is hungry.Look at the picture.What’s the snake’s tasty food? Ss：The rat. T:Yes.The rat is the tasty food.If you are the rat,what can you do?        Think and choose. T:Does the snake eat the rat?Yes/No.Let’s see the whole story. Ss:No,the rat can swim away.
