Unit4  What can you do? A Let’s try Let’s talk   【教学内容】Unit4  What can you do? 第一课时   本节课的教学内容是五年级上册Unit4 第一课时A Let’s try & Let’s talk. Let’s try 为听力活动，听力文本是一段包含核心句型的对话。学生通过完成听录音选图的活动初步接触核心句型，为Let’s talk板块的教学进行铺垫。Let’s talk 部分学习的核心句型是：What can you do for the party? I can sing English songs.教材通过Miss White 和张鹏以及John的对话，让学生感知上述功能句的语义及语用情景。 【学情分析】 本节课的授课对象是五年级学生。他们已经学过一些简单的动词。如：dance ,swim, run ,walk, sing ,do homework, read books, play the piano....等。本单元的主题是娱乐活动，跟学生的业余生活息息相关，学生非常感兴趣。在语境中学What can you do for the party? I can sing English songs.这个句型，并把它应用于真实的语境中，学生学起来很轻松。 【教学目标】 知识目标 1、能够在情境中初步感知新词汇，如dance, draw pictures, sing English Songs, do kung fu. 2、能够理解对话大意，并能按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话和角色表演。 能力目标 1、能够在情境中运用句型What can you do for the party? I can … 进行问答。 2、积极和小伙伴合作对话，共同完成学习任务。 情感目标： 1．能够积极参与文娱活动，丰富课余生活。 2．让孩子们明白天生我材必有用，除了才艺还可以为party做很多其他事。 【教学重难点】 重点：能够按照正确的语音语调及意群朗读对话和角色表演，并能能够在情境中运用句型What can you do for the party? I can … 2.Wonderful,next Tuesday的理解和运用。 【教学方法】 根据本课的课型特点和语言特色，借助多媒体的力量，我采用了Task-based teaching method任务教学法，游戏教学法 andTotal situational teaching method情境教学法。通过这些方法来激发学生的学习兴趣，突破重难点。 【课前准备】 1.与本课教学相关人物图片和头饰。 2.多媒体课件。 3.词卡。 【教学过程】 一．Warm-up/ Revision 1.Greeting. T: What day is it today?    What do you often do on the weekend?    Do you often …? Can you ……？ 2.Enjoy a song:It’s party time. (Purpose:问候拉近师生之间的距离，可以了解学生的知识储备。通过歌曲It’s party time，既活跃了课堂气氛，又为引出课题作铺垫。) 二. Lead-in    T：Miss White and the children will also have a party. Listen, what is Sarah saying? 感知句型：We’ll have an English party next Tuesday. 从而引出theme：English party, Time: next Tuesday.) 三、Presentation / Practice 1、Let’s try. T: What can Mike do for the party? Listen and tick. Mike can draw pictures. （Purpose: Let’s try, 为后面的对话学习作铺垫） 2、Let’s talk （1）Watch and answer: What can John do for the party? What can Zhang Peng do for the party? 引出sing English songs, do some kung fu的学习以及核心句型： What can you do for the party? I can … 的学习。 （Purpose:带着问题去听对话，培养学生听的能力.） （2）Read it better. （3）Role play. （4）Read along the tape. 3、Summary: They can sing English songs, do some kung fu, play the pipa and soon. They can have talent shows during the party. (PPT显示) 4、播放Oliver和Miss White的对话，引出blow up the balloons （Purpose: 让孩子们明白即使你不会才艺表演，没关系，你也可以为party 做一些力所能及的事） 5、Discuss in pair: T: For logistic（后勤）, What else can they do for the party? 板书出示：clean the classroom set the table blow up the balloons Buy some candies  buy some fruits…… 6、完成板书 party plan. 四、Consolidation / Extension 1、Watch a video of New Year Party. 2、Work in 4: make a wonderful plan of New Year Party.
