类型1 倒装句
[高考体验]
1.(2023·新高考Ⅰ卷写作)我从没想过我能在写作比赛中获得一等奖。

[系统归纳]
1.部分倒装:只把谓语的一部分(多为助动词、系动词be或情态动词)置于主语之前的句子,叫部分倒装句。这类句型主要有以下几种:
(1)表示否定意义的副词或连词置于句首时引起部分倒装结构。这类词(组)有:
never; seldom; rarely; little; few; nowhere; at no time; by no means; no longer; not until; hardly/scarcely ...when ...; neither ...nor ...; no sooner ...than ...; not only ...but also ...
(2)“only修饰介词短语、副词或状语从句”置于句首时,要用部分倒装。
(3)so/such ...that ...结构中的so/such 连同它所修饰的成分共同位于句首表示强调时,主句要用部分倒装。
(4)表示前面所说的情况也适用于后者时,用倒装结构“so/neither/nor+助动词/系动词/情态动词+主语”(so表示肯定意义, neither/nor表示否定意义)。
①Not until I lost my job did I realize I should improve my working skills.
直到我失去工作我才意识到我应该提高工作技能了。
②Only by working hard can you succeed.
只有通过努力工作你才能成功。
2.全部倒装:谓语动词完全置于主语之前的句子,叫全部倒装句。这类句型主要有以下几种:
(1)here, there, now, then, out, in, up, down, away, on the wall, in the room 等表示地点、时间或方位的副词或介词短语置于句首,且主语为名词时,句子用全部倒装。
(2)有时为平衡句子结构或突出、强调,将作表语的介词短语、形容词、副词或分词提到句首,构成“表语+系动词+主语”的完全倒装结构。
At the meeting place of the Yangtze River and the Jialing River lies Chongqing, one of the ten largest cities in China.
在长江和嘉陵江的交汇处,坐落着中国十大城市之一的重庆。
类型2 强调句
[高考体验]
1.(2023·全国甲卷书面表达)It_was_due_to_his_effort_that the ancient Silk Road started, building bridges between the Han Dynasty and the Western Regions.
正是由于他的努力,才开启了古丝绸之路,架起了沟通汉朝和西域的桥梁。
2.(2023·浙江1月高考写作)直到它走近的那一刻,我才看到它尖利的嘴里衔着黑莓。

3.(2022·新高考Ⅰ卷写作)是你让我意识到,做我自己,我就能主宰自己的命运。

[系统归纳]
1.强调句型
其基本结构:It is/was+被强调的部分+that/who+句子其他部分。该句型可对句子的主语、表语、宾语、状语等进行强调。当被强调部分是人,且作主语时,可用who或that,其他情况下一律用that。
It was what he did rather than what he said that annoyed me.
惹恼我的不是他说的话而是他做的事。
2.not ...until的强调句型结构:It is/was not until ...+that+句子其他部分。
It was not until I came here that I realized this place was famous for not only its beauty but also its weather.
直到我来到这儿,我才知道这个地方出名不仅是因为它的美,还因为它的天气。
3.对谓语动词进行强调时用do, does, did。
She did tell me her address, but I forgot all about it.
她确实告诉过我她的地址,但我全忘了。
类型3 省略句
[高考体验]
1.(2023·新高考Ⅰ卷写作)我想知道您是否能允许我们自由分组,必要时,您可以做出调整。

[系统归纳]
1.状语从句中的省略
当时间、条件、让步、方式等状语从句的主语和主句的主语一致或其主语是it,且从句谓语含有be动词时,可以省略状语从句中的主语和be动词。
Children, when accompanied by their parents, are allowed to enter the stadium.
当有父母陪伴的时候,孩子们才被允许进入体育场。
2.不定式的省略
(1)为了避免重复,可以省去不定式中和前面句子中相同的动词(短语),只保留不定式符号to。常用在expect, hope, intend, mean, try, want, wish等词后。
Firstly, people may feel forced when asked to do things that they don't want to.
首先,当人们被要求去做他们不想做的事情时,可能会感到是被迫的。
(2)but用作介词,意为“除……之外”且前面有实义动词do的某种形式,后接不定式时,常省略不定式符号to;但前面没有实义动词do的某种形式,后接不定式时,不定式符号to不能省略。
①The students could do nothing but wait quietly.
学生们别无选择只能静静地等候。
②If he takes this work, he will have no choice but to meet an even greater challenge.
如果他接受这份工作,除了迎接更大的挑战之外他将别无选择。
(3)在使役动词let, have, make等和感官动词后面作宾补的动词不定式常省去to。
类型4 there be句型

1.there be结构可以有不同的时态,可以和助动词或情态动词连用,并且该结构中的be有时可用 live, remain, stand, lie, exist, seem to be, appear to be, happen to be, used to be等替换。
Once upon a time there lived an old fisherman in a village by the sea.
从前,在海边的一个村庄里住着一位老渔夫。
There stands a big tall apple tree in front of my house.
我家屋前有一棵高大的苹果树。
2.there be结构的常考句型:
There is no point/sense (in) doing sth. 做某事没有意义
There is no doubt that ... 毫无疑问……
There is no need (for sb.) to do sth. (某人)没有必要做某事
This doesn't mean we are becoming either more or less intelligent, but there is no doubt that the way we use memory is changing.
这并不意味着我们正变得比以前更聪明或是不如以前聪明,但是毫无疑问,我们使用记忆力的方式正在变化。

[点拨] 在强调句型中,当被强调部分是人,且作主语时,可用who或that,其他情况下一律用that。
②All the photographs in this book, unless stating otherwise, date from the 1950s.
[纠错] stating改为stated
[点拨] 判断省略句中用现在分词还是过去分词,看它与逻辑主语之间的逻辑关系。如果它们之间存在主动关系,则用现在分词;如果它们之间存在被动关系,则用过去分词。
