教材分析
本节课是围绕着“年龄”(How old are you?)这个题材展开
多种教学活动的一节课。
本节课的重点句型是,“How old are you? I’m ...”在以前的课程中我们学过这一句型的运用,但这一课,进一步地加深这一句型的运用和理解。通过对“Today’s my birthday …”这一句型的伸展,进一步提高学生听、说、读、交际等综合素质能力。
学生分析
本班学生已经有了一定的英语基础,而且他们对英语的兴趣很浓,尤其喜欢歌曲、游戏、角色表演。学习氛围较好,善于合作,交流。
教学目标
1、知识目标
1)、能听、说、读句型:How old are you? When is your birthday?
2)、能听懂并跟读书中对话,鼓励学生学会表演。
2、能力目标
运用所学举行获得有关年龄的信息。
3、情感目标
培养学生用所学的交际用语进行交流的能力,并通过交际化语言的学习,激发学生对语言学习的热情,培养学生爱好。
教学重点
会听、说句型How old are you? I’m?,即学会询问对方年龄的日常交际用语。

How old are you?和When is your birthday?的正确运用

3.情境导入:
老师和孩子们交流:What day is today?
What’s the date today? Whoes birday is in april?

通过简单的交流、歌唱,
让学生渐渐放松下来。鼓励学生敢于开口,积极尝试使用英语。

教师戴Jenny头饰,跟学生打招呼
T: Hello, everyone! Ss: Hello,Jenny.
T: Today is my birthday. Ss: Happy birthday!,.
T: Thank you! Now , look . This is my birthday cake.(这是我的生日蛋糕)
I have birthday candles. How many candles? Let’s count ,OK?
T: nine candles. Yes, I’m nine
(板书 “I’m nine. 我九岁”)
T: Together,nine (跟读这个句子,齐读,男女生读)
2、How old are you?
T: Look, Mike is coming. Do you know how old is Mike?
T: Let me tell you. How old are you?
(板书 How old are you? 你几岁了?”)
T: Follow me ,how old are you?(通过和How are you的比较来认识) 领读——组读——开火车读
T: Who can ask Steven? How old are you , Steven?
S1: How old are you , Steven?
T: I’m nine
T: Together ,I’m nine (跟读这个句子,齐读,男女生读)

T: Clever. Now , let’s talk in pairs.(同桌小朋友互相问)
T: Which pair? Hands up!
4、T: Hello, how old are you?
S1: I’m nine.
T: Who is nine, too? Stand up!
T: So we can say: I’m nine, too.
(板书 “I’m nine, too. 我也九岁了“)
(教师让所有站着的同学跟读“I’m nine, too “)

S2: No.
T: How old are you?
S2: I’m eight.

(教师让所有站着的同学说“I’m eight too.“)

询问How old is the baby? 引导学生回答He is one year old. 并强调只有一岁时用one year old. (出示小女孩及蛋糕图片)询问How old is the girl ? 并引导学生回答 引出重点句型并板书
