Among all the inkstones, the Chengni inkstone was one of the most famous and was widely loved. The Chengni inkstone first appeared during the western Han Dynasty, but the skills of making it were lost during the late Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty. Students at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands started to work on solar-powered cars years ago. When it’s sunny, the car can run 710 kilometers a day. Stella Terra can carry two people and has a top speed of 145kph. The car weighs just 1,200 kilograms. The car had to travel through forests as well as dry riverbeds. It had to drive across loose desert sand and up mountain roads. The car succeeded in doing all of this. It is the first off-road solar-powered (越野太阳能的) car that can travel a long way without needing a recharging station (充电站). Students at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands started to work on solar-powered cars years ago. The students are known as Solar Team Eindhoven, and the car they came up with is called Stella Terra. The car has some special solar panels (太阳能电池板). Most solar panels are only about 20% efficient (有效率的). That means they waste about 80% of the sunlight they get. But Stella Terra’s solar panels are 97% efficient. When it’s sunny, the car can run 710 kilometers a day. Stella Terra can carry two people and has a top speed of 145kph. The car weighs just 1,200 kilograms.
