(四)工具、方式、手段的介词 1.by by 表示交通方式 by air, by plane, by bus “按......算” by the year/day/hour by the pound/ton 通过......（方式/手段） by phone/email by hard work 2.with with with+有形的工具或身体某些器官 with a pencil=in pencil with our eyes/ears/legs with+表示情感态度的名词 with satisfaction with permission with+有形的工具或身体某些器官 with a pencil=in pencil with our eyes/ears/legs 3.in in 用于语言/原料/颜色/情绪等词之前 in English， 分析结构，如果空格后的名词(前面一般有限定词)、代词或动名词在句中不是作主语、表语，也不是作动词的宾语时，那就是作介词的宾语，即填介词。 因为名词和代词最典型的用法是在句中作主语或宾语，既然不作主语和动词的宾语，那就是作介词的宾语了，所以要填介词。具体填什么介词，一般是由介词与该名词的搭配及其意义来决定，有时候也由动词或形容词与介词的句式搭配来决定。 二．介词考点归纳 从近年来的介词高考题来看, 考过by hand, speak with/to sb, take responsibility for doing sth, from… to…, serve as, switch (over) from…to…, in/during the Tang dynasty, more than, on earth, to and from work, focus on, by
