Teaching design Topic: Unit 2 when do you use a computer? Type: Reading &writing Discourse study(语篇研读) What: 文章介绍了三位同学，分别是Zhang Lei, Alice和Mikes在日常生活中使用电脑的场合和地点，以及使用电脑所能做的事情。 Why: 学生通过阅读文章，能够学会表达自己在日常生活中用电脑能可以做的事情， 同时树立正确合理上网的意识。 How: 这篇课文的是三个同学对于自己日常生活中使用电脑的描述，三个小语篇构成了整个文章的大语篇，没有明显的文章总体结构，因为是对自己日常生活经常性和习惯性的行为进行描述，所以篇章基本全部采用一般现在时态。 Teaching goals: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to 1. Master new words and expressions in this unit. 2. Express when and where they can do on the computer, and their daily life with computers. 3. Describe what they can do with the help of computer, and how to use computer properly. Students look at the pictures of computer, and review the words that related to computer, such as: keyboard, screen, mouse, etc. 2. Students read the passage quickly, answer the three questions in Activity 1 and check the true sentences in Activity 2. 3. Students read the three paragraphs one by one, and then answer some questions . 4. Students discuss with their partners about two questions: Where can you use computer?
